Are you running Boston Marathon? Are you trying to qualify? At this fundraiser, Mark will be sharing his story about failing and then finally qualifying for the 2015 Boston Marathon, plus insights and tips about the historic event itself.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to support i2P (Impossible2Possible) a non-profit organization that uses adventure based learning programs to educate, inspire and empower young people all over the world.
Tickets $25 includes a copy of Long Road to Boston ($29.95 value). Mark will be available to sign the book after the talk.

Join Mark at Bier Market Ottawa for a special talk about his personal experiences as a runner, my journey to the Boston Marathon, and a new initiative he'll be launching at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend. Mark's book Long Road to Boston will be available for purchase.
Start with Iron North Studio's regular Sunday long runs and end with our speaker series. With your first pint included from Kichesippi Beer Co, sip and socialize with other runners and enjoy the wisdom from some of the best professionals in our endurance community. Donations will be accepted upon sign in for the Ottawa Marathon Scotiabank Charity Challenge with a charity of choice to be drawn after the speaker portion of the event has come to an end.

Mark will be captaining an Ottawa Hospital Run for a Reason team which will be fundraising for stem cell research leading up to Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend in May. Mark will be running the Scotiabank Ottawa Marathon (May 28) but you can run any event (5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon options) as part of the team.
