Kevin Garinger

The President of the Humboldt Broncos, Kevin Garinger, joined me on Ottawa Today. Garinger hosted Conner Lukan in his home during tournaments and had a special bond with the team. He’s working with his community to reflect on the lives that were lost in this tragedy and is hoping to provide as much support as he can for the families that are grieving in this time. Listen here to his story.

Tina Boileau

Jonathan Pitre's mother Tina Boileau joined me on Ottawa Today to talk about the life of her son. Jonathan passed away on April 4th in Minnesota with his mother by his side at the age of 17. She has now returned home to Russell, Ontario to the rest of her family and is grateful for the love and support of the community that has supported her. Listen here for her story and to learn about Jonathan’s legacy.

Steffan Watkins

Ottawa-based IT-security consultant Steffan Watkins joined me to discuss his hobby tracking military and spy ships around the world. Watkins’ interest in spy and military ships started after he began researching the Cold War. He tracks the ships through social media, researching where ships are stopping for supplies, and putting pieces together from open source information. Listen here to learn more.
