December 1, 2017: My Top 3 Ottawa Today interviews from this week.

Mary Walsh, Actor & Comedian

Mary Walsh, actor and comedian from the short-lived show "Hatching, Matching and Dispatching" joined me to talk about the movie "A Christmas Fury" that is premiering this Sunday on CBC. She co-wrote the Christmas special with Ed McDonald to bring the cast back together for a Furey family Christmas. Listen to the interview for more information about this dysfunctional family special.

Ken Dryden, Hall of Fame Goaltender & Author

Hall of Fame goaltender, former cabinet minister, and author Ken Dryden joined me to talk about his new book “Game Change: The Life and Death of Steve Montador, and the Future of Hockey”. When I was 15 years old I read Dryden’s book “The Game” and it inspired me to become a writer; it’s still one of my favourite books to this day. His new book conveys the risks and dangers of head injuries and concussions from hockey. Listen here.

Patrick Brown, Ontario PC leader

Patrick Brown, the Ontario PC Leader, joined me in the studio to talk about his new policy platform: The People’s Guarantee. Brown believes the promises in this new policy are reasonable and achievable within his first term. If not, he’s going to step down. Listen to his full interview for more information about the policy platform.
